Information used
The app uses Shopify authentication and store identity, product and variant details, SKUs, merchant-supplied classification facts, classification results, approvals and activity records. Subscription information determines plan access and AI allowance. The app does not request customer or order access.
Local and AI matching
Local HTS lookup and matching use bundled schedule data without sending product facts to an AI provider or schedule data API. Shopify catalog synchronization still communicates with Shopify.
When an entitled merchant explicitly requests AI enhancement, the configured Luna service receives bounded product titles, descriptions, types, tags, options and merchant-provided facts alongside official HTS candidates. The adapter does not include store identity, SKU or variant IDs in that request and requests no response storage. Product text itself may contain information entered by the merchant; do not enter personal or sensitive data in classification facts. Provider-side retention is governed by the configured service's terms.
Storage and controls
Sessions, catalog records, results, approvals and usage records are stored in this app's separate database. Access is scoped to the authenticated store. Exports leave the app under the merchant's control. Optional Shopify write access is requested separately and writes require explicit merchant confirmation.
Uninstallation revokes app access. The Shopify shop-redaction webhook triggers deletion of this app's stored shop records and sessions. Removing the app cannot delete export files you downloaded or forwarded.
